A little 'history ...
The gastronomic adventure of the Mastellone family began back in 1976, with the Restaurant "La Taverna of the friends" of Massa Lubrense.
From this happy experience the family decided to move to Sorrento opening first the Tavernetta in Marina di Puolo and subsequently the Tavernetta in Sorrento.
The great passion for cooking has involved all members of the family that still today participate in the management of both restaurants.
First there is Papa Salvatore Chef Craftsman in all things culinary and working by his side is the youngest son Daniele.
The dining room is managed by two brothers: Lello and Tonino who personally deal with the guests ensuring friendly and professional relationships.
But the true soul of the restaurant is Mamma Rosaria that for years has dealt with the production of all fresh pasta and typical cakes among which include the famous caprese cake and the delicious ricotta and pear cake.
